Architect Ewan Proctor-Mason Promoted to Associate
We are very pleased to announce the promotion of Ewan Proctor-Mason to the position of Associate.
Ewan, a Certified Passivhaus Designer and graduate of the prestigious Mackintosh School of Architecture, joined HAUS in 2014. Since joining, Ewan has contributed to a wide range of projects, including both the award-winning Westwood Student Mews in Coventry and Moda’s flagship Build To Rent (BTR) Angel Gardens in Manchester.
We have recently undertaken a recruitment drive to support project awards and the design and delivery of our growing project portfolio. Ewan will take charge of the delivery of major projects, which currently include the new BT regional headquarters and student accommodation development at Greenmarket in Dundee.
HAUS Associate Ewan Proctor-Mason said: “I am excited by the opportunity of the role and the future of the practice. Many projects that have been on drawing boards and desktops across the studio for some time now are moving forward through delivery. HAUS are well respected for pushing the boundaries on the art of the possible, maximising development potential in design, and we are now rapidly seeing more and more of our designs being realised.”
Murray Henderson, HAUS Collective director, said: “Our skilled and passionate team are the foundation of our ongoing success.
“Ewan was the first graduate we hired after starting the business in 2013 and he will now play a pivotal role in delivering multiple buildings of scale, simultaneously for our clients. As the industry continues to address the challenges of climate, Ewan’s skills and experience in sustainable design provides HAUS a strong position to deliver lower carbon buildings which will be long-lasting.
“No one building is designed through individual effort but rather collaborative endeavour, and we know continuing to invest in our team will enable us to achieve our ambitious practice aims.”
