Merchant City House includes the refurbishment of the Category B listed building in the heart of Glasgow’s City Centre.

Set within Glasgow’s Central Conservation Area, proposals for Merchant City House include the sensitive refurbishment of internal spaces, restoring original decoration, and minor external alterations. Detailed design work is at the heart of our proposal, informing our overall retrofit strategy for this fascinating heritage asset.

Our proposals include the construction of 34 studio beds within the building, providing contemporary and modern facilities for students within Merchant City. Our client, The Unite Group wish for the project to be an exemplar refurbishment within their property portfolio.
