Broadfold Road in Aberdeen embodies a fresh interpretation of the typical office environment. It introduces an open plan, column-free structure that, thanks to floor-to-ceiling glazing, is opened to panoramic views on all sides. Our design proposals mean the building can occupy the site to its maximum capacity while also leaving the potential for future flexibility.

A central atrium crowned with a skylight penetrates all floors to allow natural light to pierce the centre, unifying the levels within the building. At night, the structure will appear as a delicate box, illuminated from within. The project has been designed to minimise energy emissions and aims to achieve a BREEAM standard (globally recognised certification system for sustainable building design) of ‘excellent’.
